I have teamed up with HARIBO to host a special competition to win an exciting festive package containing a Gingerbread House Cutter Kit and an array of HARIBO sweets for decoration! Just what you need to get Christmas off to a great start.
Decorating Gingerbread Houses is always a favourite festive pastime for my children! Although they do seem to eat almost as many sweets as they use to decorate! I don’t blame them though HARIBO sweets are very moreish. It’s hard not to sample a few myself. What I love is that moment of togetherness when you create magical memories like this.
I am awaiting our package to arrive then will update this post with our #HariboFestiveFun creation! My kids will be in their element that’s for sure. They are such big Haribo fans, they keep watching out for the post just in case today is the day!
Well here is the big reveal! It’s barely standing but my youngest loved decorating the roof! Husband made the gingerbread from scratch, so you get that authentic burnt edge to the roof! Next time he will leave it in for less time. But on the plus side our house smelt gorgeous with fresh gingerbread in the oven.
When it comes to presents, I do love how cute some of the packaging is. Puck penguin and Pip polar bear boxes would make tasty Christmas gifts. You can never go wrong with sweets when it comes to my two. They are fantastic presents to pad up the Christmas pile as they are relatively inexpensive and always get a good reception!
Each of these boxes costs RRP £2 and are new for Christmas 2019! The flavours sound good too, the penguin shaped foams in the Puck box are peach & vanilla, blackcurrant & vanilla and strawberry & vanilla. The Pip polar bear and paw shapes have more of a zing and are raspberry and blackcurrant.
