If your wondering what else to get the kids this Christmas look no further. Let me introduce Simbrix a construction toy that’s so easy to build! We have had similar toys before but needed water or ironing to set them.  These fit together well, you don’t have to worry about the hassle of using anything else.

It’s safer than letting your children anywhere near an ironing board.  They can be left to their own devices to build something impressive using the provided inspiration cards or something from their own imagination without needing constant supervision. Or you might be like me and promise to iron it soon and not quite get around to it quick enough! This really do seem the best alternative when it comes to this type of construction toy.

We had the Geek Kit which retails at £30.  It comes with lots of different colours and plenty of bricks to be as creative as you like. The inspiration deck has lots to pick from, not just a couple of designs but enough to keep you busy for quite a while.

My boys are 8 and 10 and this is the perfect gift for them. It’s a welcome break from computer games, develops hand/eye coordination and encourages positive play experiences Simbrix is what you have been searching for this Christmas. Don’t just take my word for it, Simbrix won a bronze award in the Toy Shop UK awards.  This is where over 900 independent retailers were asked to vote on the toys us parents should be buying this Christmas.

The company take the development of Simbrix very seriously.  They have tweaked the product on the advice of their consumers and always complete vigorous testing. I like how Simbrix share fans designs they have made.  Children will be over the moon to see their design up on their website. It’s wonderful seeing what can be created, it’s quite incredible what some fans have achieved. The Harry Potter and Pokemon characters being my favourites. I also like the idea of making Simbrix Christmas decorations for the tree.  Children enjoy seeing you showcase their work, the sense of pride they get.

They seem to put a lot of thought into their products, I like that they even include a few stickers, so you can personalise your Simbrix play tray.
