Bank Holiday Bike Rides And Picnics

I worked on Saturday and Sunday so wanted today to be a lovely family day! I always feel like I am missing out on special time with my children when I am stuck in the supermarket. Needs must, but I hate those moments sliding away. Although we were blessed with glorious weather and had a very active Bank Holiday. It is hard being away from the kids of a weekend. But I think I made up for it with this schedule of events. I probably crammed in more fun than usual to make up for it!

We squeezed in some bike rides. It is always a good idea to keep these active.

A long walk just in case they had energy left over after the bike ride.

Followed by a picnic to refuel!

Pulling silly faces, what day wouldn’t be complete without some humour and laughter! I love seeing my two get on.

Pit Stop, a slush to cool down! You always need some extra treats on a bank holiday!

Then we bought a paddling pool, which given how much water it needed, was not filled on this occasion! But the boys had lots of fun anyway!

Is it any surprise mummy is exhausted and the boys fell straight to sleep tonight!?! Hope you all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend whatever you got up to.
