Our house is overrun with books! I love encouraging the boys to read so am always picking up new ones for them, even when they have plenty. I can’t help myself.  But I do like to think it helps with their education and develops their imaginations. Storage is becoming an issue though with piles of books on the floor and under their bed.  Pretty much everywhere you looked there would be a book! So I was thrilled to review a Songmics 4 tier bookcase to give me a chance to start to organise them nicely!

My son has recently moved into his new bedroom so appreciates having nice furniture to compliment it and this bookcase was the most perfect addition! We placed the bookcase upright.  But you can also use it on its side if you have bigger books.  It’s great having the option depending on your available floor space and requirements.

We had the wooden grain colour, but it also comes in white.

For the price we were very impressed with the quality. It was easy to build, my husband quickly got to grips with it. He said the instructions where simple to follow and very clear. The bookcase went together without any issue and at a much quicker pace than other products he has built like this before.

The end result was a sturdy attractive piece of furniture for the home that my youngest was delighted with. As its quite tall it holds lots of books and has made him want to keep them tidy.  It’s given him a new pride in his books as he likes organising them on the shelves.
