The Songmics Ottoman Bench Box was very sturdy.  The ideal storage solution that you can also sit on without it collapsing which is a good sign!  It’s a stylish piece of furniture, so much nicer than having plastic boxes of toys everywhere. It is a practical solution to our clutter woes, that is much more functional. I really like seeing the boys’ rooms start to come together. This has really smartened the room up.

Great Value

I was impressed with the price, I don’t think you can grumble for £29.99. It really enhances the look of his bedroom, before my son had a tatty old plastic box (minus the lid, I have no idea where that had disappeared too!) so the Lego stored inside was always dusty! Now he has somewhere to stow away all his Lego and to sit and relax as well. He calls the ottoman his “couch” and he likes to stretch out his legs with a good book!  So happy he is with the new addition to his room.  He has already told me he can’t wait to show his friend when he’s over next week.

Ample Storage Space

There was plenty of space hidden inside, it’s such a good size. Ideal storage for a child’s room.  Just remember to put the inside piece in BEFORE adding what you want to store, I tipped in a giant box of Lego before realising! Doh! left to my own devices something usually goes wrong. But it was soon rectified and it’s now much easier for my youngest to keep his belongings tidy. A divider is provided so you can benefit from two handy sections if you prefer, but I just used the whole area. We have so much Lego it just made more sense.

Since having the Songmics Book Shelf and this Ottoman youngest has been eager to keep his room organised and clutter free. He is very proud of his space and likes keeping it nice which even extends to hovering the floor from time to time. Updating children’s rooms with new furniture doesn’t always happen because of the cost involved, but Songmics seem to have a good selection of items that won’t break the bank!
