Fablab Competition
It looks like today will be a snow day, with the boys off school. Luckily, I have a FabLab Glitter Tattoo set to keep them amused and hopefully distract them from squabbling! Eldest is always keen to have a glitter tattoo when we attend community fundraisers. You can pay quite a bit for one glitter tattoo, so it makes sense to have your own set.
The RRP of £9.99 is very reasonable indeed. Especially as the set includes so much, with 27 stencils, four pots of coloured body glitter, red, blue, green and purple, one pot of glue and all the brushes you need to have sparkly fun! You really do get plenty for your money.
Get Creative
Each of the FabLab sets helps children get creative. They can do their nails, enjoy a temporary glittery tattoo or add exciting colours to their hair. Furthermore its a good and safe introduction to beauty products, if children are keen to start experimenting.
I would recommend buying all three sets and hosting a pamper birthday party for your child. If you consider how expensive party entertainment usually is this option offers excellent value. Children will like helping each other too, taking turns to do each other’s nails, tattoos and hair. As grownups we can really benefit from pamper time and it’s no different for children. They will love getting their BFF’s over to experiment with these sets.
As a parent what I find most reassuring is that each set is 100% nontoxic and hypoallergenic. They have been fully tested and have no harmful chemicals. The nail set is solvent free. If your child has started taking an interest in your beauty products, the FabLab set is a much safer alternative to start them off.
The Nail Art set
This set (RRP £9.99) comes with two bags of nail sprinkles, so children can create spectacular nails! The included fine brush means children can be quite imaginative, adding dots, lines or other detailing after the first colour has dried. 7 varnishes are included so children have plenty of choice.
Hairlights set
The Hairlights set (RRP £9.99) has six coloured chalks that wash out easily afterwards. Additionally two hairdresser’s hair clips are included so its simple for children to section out their hair if they want to try something more ambitious.
