Otztal

Otztal is a family orientated valley with an array of thrilling outdoor activities. During the winter months, they have some of the nicest ski runs in Europe.  As for the summer months there’s hiking, biking, kayaking and lake swimming.  So then you find plenty to entertain the whole family.

The German and Italian borders are both within one hour of western Austria.  Lake Garda is within two hours.

Otztal Ski Apartments

The village of Oetz in the Otztal Valley has supermarkets, a train station and a number of hotels and guesthouses. Within a quaint and rural setting, Kristall Spaces are selling off-plan apartments at All-Suite Resort Otztal.

There is a 300ft ski lift that connects with 50 miles of slopes at Kutai, the highest ski resort in Austria.

However Atterbury says prices are 18-20 per cent lower in Oetz compared to major ski resorts of Solden and Obergurgl. “Canny buyers realize the value further down the valley.”

Incidentally Kristall Spaces have two more ski property projects in Tyrol.  These are located within Paznaun and Fieberbrunn, both of which have furnished one to three-bedroom flats starting from £183,000.

The price of two-bedroom homes start at £245,600 and three bedrooms from £362,000. Yearly service charges begin at £3,345 and owners are required to make their property available for rent. Paznaun is an hour’s drive from Innsbruck which has 175 miles of slopes and upmarket après-ski.
