Feisty Pets Celebrate Halloween With Them
Jazwares sent us Feisty Pets Sammy Suckerpunch a loveable grey husky and Sir Growls-A-Lot a delightful brown bear. But don’t be fooled by their angelic good looks when you squeeze behind their eyes they quickly transform! Suddenly sharp teeth are bared and eyes are drawn angrily together.
We love Halloween but the kids can get a bit lively with all the sweets! So forget stocking up on Halloween candy if you want a present for your own kids Feisty Pets are ideal. All the excitement of the festivities with none of the sugar rush!
My boys think they are absolutely awesome. Now they are nine and eleven soft toys aren’t such a big deal usually. Well that was until they saw their Feisty Pets in action! They love the surprise element. Each one has its own likes and dislikes so its worth staying in their good books unless you are ready to see your pet turn vicious. Sir Growls-A-Lot dislikes waking up! To be honest he sounds like a bear after my own heart. I can completely relate to how he feels. I am sure my expression is similar when woken before 8am on the weekend!
The mechanism is easy to operate so kids can smoothly change their pets face without any issues.
I really like how they require no batteries always a big plus for me! It’s interesting having a plush toy that’s more interactive. The boys liked seeing how their dog would react with the toys. She kept going up to sniff them but wasn’t entirely sure of them in case they would snarl at her again! My boys are practical jokers with cheeky chappy personalities so they like frightening people with them. They are such a novelty toy but very affordable now. Available to buy for £14.99 from Smyths or Argos you can now have the toy that went viral without having to break the bank!
You have plenty of choice of characters alongside my two. There is Vicky Vicious Bunny, Glenda Glitterpoop the unicorn, Princess Pottymouth a cat, Junkyard Jeff the goat and Sparkles Rainbowbarf the Pegasus. If you are keen to build up the full collection you can also get your hands on the Smyths exclusive Golden Doodle the dog. I just love their names so much, very elaborate and flamboyant just like the toys themselves!
I think these Feisty Pets are a good way to remind children that not all pets are friendly. It’s always worth checking with an owner before patting an animal so it might help remind them to ask! Given the temper Feisty Pets have and the need to approach them with caution it’s a good lesson to follow in real life too.
