Day Four Orlando Holiday SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival
Our fourth day of our Orlando holiday was a bit chilly. We had been very lucky with the weather up to that point. It was still better than the UK. But because we had three amazing days before it, we really noticed the drop in temperature. We would have coped better if it had been our first day. Luckily the SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival was on. It’s a regular event and it cheered us right up!
This year it is on from the 7th of February to the 3rd of May. So, we headed there to fill our tummies with tempting tastes from around the world. We bought two lanyards as they work out the best value. They cost 67 dollars (plus tax) each and give you 15 different samples. It’s a considerable saving if you go for the more expensive samples each time (over 40% savings!). Mind you my boys have a sweet tooth and the desserts did seem much cheaper. You can buy a cheaper lanyard with fewer samples too, a 10 item package is $52 (over 35% saving).
My husband has been looking forward to this event over anything else in the holiday. He doesn’t really do rides; the food festival was right up his street. Each time your order a sample they stamp out the card, so its easy to keep track of how many more tasters you can enjoy!
My hubbie and youngest were quite partial to the Palermo Fontina Cheese Meatballs from the Italian Market. I think they ordered them about three times in the end! What I loved was admiring the photographs in the food festival booklet, knowing our photographer buddy Richmond took a fair few of them! I wish I had ordered the Caprese Salad as that beauty was one of his!
At the All-American market, we liked the Brisket Nachos (with different coloured nachos) and the Tennessee Whiskey BBQ Chicken Wings. I literally could have quite happily stayed there eating chicken wings all day! But we had other stalls to check out.
The fish and chips from the North Atlantic Market were tasty. But its best to eat them straight away at the stand.
Our second trip to the SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival on the Saturday we had a long walk back to our table and the waffle chips aren’t quite as tasty when they have cooled!
We also tried the Blueberry shortcake, which was a yummy treat. Although they seemed to have missed the fresh whipped cream that was meant to come with it! I didn’t notice until too late and we had already eaten the dessert.
The boys insisted we try out the Chocolate Brazilian Brigadeiro truffles. They were very indulgent you only needed a little bit!
The boys went a little crazy for the Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream from the Asian Market ay the SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival. They had to have one each and had no intention of sharing! Check it out in my feature photo! I went to the Polynesian Island Market and sampled the Hawaiian Pineapple Dream Cake ($4.99) which was pretty good. Although then the boys said they had to have the Pineapple Twist soft serve ($5.99)! I dread to think how much sugar they had that day; however good intentions go out the window when you’re on holiday!
They boys were a little envious of my husband’s Chocolate Cheesecake Cone ($4.99) but I really wasn’t going to let them have yet another pudding option!
I tried one of the alcoholic drinks but found it refreshing but a little bit too strong, I am not a regular drinker so that’s probably why. The Strawberry Basil Smash cost $10.99. When you order the more expensive items like that you soon see the value of having a lanyard (or two!).
Not everything we would order again, we liked the Wild Boar Tenderloin ($8.99) at the Florida Market but not the cheese polenta it came with. But it was nice to try something different even if it wasn’t to our taste! It’s all about educating your palate. The Gulf Coast Market had good Pepperjack Mac and Cheese ($5.49) but it was a bit too much! It can get a little samey having a giant portion of that.
The boys raved about the Caribbean Sunset (non-alcoholic) drinks ($5.99) they had from the Caribbean Market. It was very fruity and tasted nice. There are a few things I would have liked to try but we were led by the boys primarily! If they saw something (usually sweet!) they would be off with the lanyard before I got a chance to put in my requests!
I wish I had listed all the prices earlier but only thought to do it when we had got around most of the stalls. There was so much variety at the food festival. I think it adds a bit more excitement to visit SeaWorld when you have done all the different attractions at the park and fancy a change of scene. If we come back in February next year, we would be adding SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival to our itinerary again. Especially as they have NEW food added each year!
We left around 1pm as we were stuffed, plus at that point we wanted to escape the cold!
I have not been to Orlando for 20 years and would love to go back, we did love Sea World, and what about that food it all looks amazing x
You definitely saved a lot of money buying the pass and not paying as you go. The food you tried sounds so delicious. I would be all over that Brisket Nachos. The brigadiero truffles are such a treat as well, I had them once and I can still remember how amazing they tasted.
You had me at FOOD! If we were to go to Seaworld, I’d park myself down and devour these delicious foods and desserts!

I went to SeaWorld in 2016 and wasn’t impressed by the food in the main restaurants, so it’s good that they also do this Seven Seas Food Festival.
Yum, yum, yummy there is such great food at Disney. I miss when the boys were young and we traveled there annually.

The food festival looks like the ideal activity for the weather being a bit cooler. Easily take your mind off it all. What a great array of food too, some delicious looking choices and certainly enough to fill you up. A good day for all by the looks of it.
