Wonderbly Where Are You Book Review and Competition
My youngest was over the moon when his personalised Where Are You? book from Wonderbly arrived. He enjoys these types of search and find puzzle books where you spot certain things. But naturally this book is even better because he features in it! You get a choice of six adventurers so you can pick out the one most like your child. Priced at £21.99 this book is currently Wonderbly’s most popular UK title and I completely understand why.
My son was so enthusiastic to get spotting in the Where Are You? book and enjoyed reading the introduction to each universe, especially seeing what job he would be doing next. What a wonderful way to get children excited about books.
I think we will have to buy Where Are You? Journey Through Time for when he finishes the book we were sent to review. I was pleased as the text in the introduction is a good way to develop his reading ability. It’s not just a spotting book, it has a story element too!
The detailed and colourful illustrations are lovely to look at. Plenty to scan your eyes across so this book can keep children happily occupied for ages. My son has spent hours going through this book and still has three universes to finish! Also, I like that at the back of the book there is lots more tricky challenges to try, which adds to the entertainment value.
Unlock Your Child’s Potential
There are six universes in total, spanning six different job roles. The themes are great, my son gets to be a chef, a vet, a paranormal investigator, an intergalactic superstar, a scientist and a legendary archaeologist. Pretty inspirational stuff with careers like that!
Wonderbly are all about children discovering their ability. There really is nothing to stop them becoming anything they want. The message at the front of the book said, “You have the potential to be anything in the universe you like!”. I think Wonderbly should be commended for getting such a positive message out there.
Since Wonderbly was formed in 2012 they have understood the power of personalising books. Apparently, when children see themselves in stories it can aid their language and literacy development. They become much more responsive to the messages behind it.

Where are you? Journey through time sounds educational. My kids do like reading and would like to be featured in a story I think.
