It is such a fabulous film. I finally had a chance to watch it myself and as a family we were all extremely impressed. It is entertaining. We laughed a lot from the very beginning. Especially when Sonic takes the tortoise on a run so he could feel alive! Aside from that the film is jam packed with one liners and I always think Jim Carrey has the most incredible facial expressions.
Sonic The Hedgehog makes friends with the “donut lord” a local cop and all-round good guy played by James Marsden. That Sonic had already become attached to without him even knowing. Life as a super-fast hedgehog had been very lonely up till that point. But everything is about to change.
They soon set off on a mad cap adventure trying to stay one step ahead of Doctor Robotnik. Which is no easy task as you will soon see. Jim Carrey is perfect as the crazed genius desperate to unlock Sonic’s extraordinary abilities. He will go to any lengths so his technology can be fully powered. It is amazing how friendship can help you conquer anything.
Sonic is quite mischievous as you see from the bar fight scene. But he just wants to live his life to the full! Ticking off his bucket list as he goes.
