Week 44 of 2020: Happy Halloween
Well that’s a week of the firebreak ticked off and it now sounds like England will be joining us from Thursday. I have no clue if our lockdown will be extended or not. But we have still managed to give the boys a happy Halloween even if there was no trick or treating this year.

We played Halloween bingo (we printed some sheets from Rock Your Homeschool) and the boys enjoyed pumpkin carving.

Halloween Deliveries

The boys have had lots of lovely Halloween treats delivered this week from their nanny and granddad and aunty, uncle and cousins which was very thoughtful of them. It really cheered the boys up.

Halloween Trail

We went on a Halloween trail and saw lots of lovely painted rocks. A select few are so kind doing this for the good of the community as a whole. I was speaking to one of the organisers and they told me they have spent hundreds of pounds on the paint, what a kind thing to do. They are hoping to do a Christmas trail too. It will be nice having something to look forward too.
On top of the painted rocks there was an app we downloaded so we could spot some spooky monsters.

Facebook had lots of Halloween memories pop up yesterday and I felt a little sad our Halloween was a bit different. However, both my boys said they had a really happy Halloween. We had stocked up with lots of treats and they trick or treated every room in the house. Lucky for them we have quite a big house! I loved the cute Halloween cakes we bought from M&S.

Although their Mini Frankencolins were better taste wise, so chocolatey! I need to get a Christmas colin, if I can travel to a M&S any time before Christmas! Fingers crossed.
Then we watched a few spooky movies and had a buffet lunch and tea. One of our neighbours kindly gave the boys a stack of cookies and some sweets for Halloween. What a thoughtful gesture!
Not Halloween related but still worthy of a mention. Thank you to my brother for giving us lots of tasty cakes this week. The kindness of others this week has really made our firebreak lockdown a lot better!

Blogging
This week I have got a few articles live beauty in a pandemic, how having a baby changes your makeup routine and travel insurance: why you need it? I still have items arriving for my Christmas gift guide and have a fab competition to launch to win a Sensilift Mini beauty product! It’s worth £179.00 so one giveaway well worth entering!

What fab photos! Those rocks are brilliant. It looks like you had a good Halloween x
