I have teamed up with Pen & Sword books to giveaway three fabulous craft books. Hopefully, these titles will help you get creative during lockdown. Each of the books are beautifully presented, lots of lovely pictures and broken down into easy to follow steps. Crafting is designed to focus the mind, so you don’t worry about other things. I think its more important than ever when we are in the middle of a pandemic!

The projects are very varied from creating artwork to valentine’s placemats and cake toppers. I just wish I had stumbled on a book like this years ago before I got married, I could have made the most amazing wedding invites.

This book is definitely going to improve your mood with 25 creative craft projects to try. You will soon feel inspired turning the pages of the book. So many gorgeous things to make, some of which are super cute like the needle felted unicorn keyring or a kawaii toast make-up bag.

I am quite excited to make the flower wall decoration, I think it would make an attractive addition to our home. The beginning of the book covers the basics of stitching before diving into the projects, so don’t feel like any of the ideas to try are beyond your capabilities. The back of the book has the templates for the projects which makes life easier too. The book is so much more than a series of projects, it has lots of advice to improve your mental health. Such as learning to be grateful, getting outdoors and organising your life.

Colourful Fun Embroidery RRP £14.99

Being creative is perfect for mindfulness. So, settle down with this book and focus all your energy on making something wonderful! There is so much choice in this book with 24 different projects, whether you want to make a brooch, a necklace, a patchwork bag or a quilting hoop clock. The rainbow necklace is my favourite. Rainbows have been a symbol of hope for the pandemic, so wearing that would remind me to stay positive.

The craft book also includes lots of uplifting messages, like keep your hopes up!
