Cooling off In The Summer Heat With HydroClash
HydroClash is a fantastic new toy to cool off in the summer heat! Children love playing with water and this fun aim, shoot and splash game was just the novelty they needed right now. Usually, mine have water pistols at the ready. However, we loved the concept of this outdoor toy. Our water fights will be even more impressive from now on.
What Is Included
The HydroClash target set (RRP £10) has a slingshot, goggles, 2 ammo and a target. Whilst the elite set (£15) offers a little bit more excitement with a shield and a colour reveal vest, alongside the slingshot, goggles and ammo. I think its handy having the shield to see if you can deflect the incoming water attacks! Plus, there is no disputing whether you got hit or not when the vest gives the game away by changing colour.
The ammo is a sponge you just soak in a tub of water before launching. It’s all very simple really, but nonetheless lots of amusement for children.
I think its good that Goliath think of safety by including the protective goggles. When the game gets fast and furious its good that their eyes are safe! Especially when your dealing with siblings fighting each other. I am also quite keen on the fact that this game means we don’t have to blow up water bombs which can make a big mess of the garden with lots of little bits of plastic everywhere.
It didn’t take long to get everything out of the boxes and get stuck into the first round of the water fight! Even my fourteen year old had a go of the game. Any excuse to battle his brother, I guess. But it was nice to see them finding a toy that appealed to them both. Older children are often glued to computer screens, it was great getting a chance to review HydroClash and get the pair of them outdoors in the fresh air. Hopefully making some awesome summer memories together.

This looks so much fun. We’re always blowing up water balloons and they then leave little bits of plastic all over the garden (which not only do we have to pick up but if we miss any then I worry about wildlife eating it). This would be great.

Leo loves playing water games and thinks it’s hysterical when he manages to soak Daisy or Piper. I like the idea of the vest that changes colour to show when you’ve been hit because it avoids the usual arguments about who is winning!

I love the sound of this because it’s water fights reinvented. The fact it’s just a sponge that is soaked in water is so simple and perfect. The kids would be entertained for ages.

I love that it looks fun and easy to use. As in a water fight it’s always essential it does the job quick and easy whilst dashing about. Other wise we get the squeals of ‘buuut I wasn’t ready!’ My girls would love this!
