I love having a shower it gets my morning off to a great start.  It’s a simple pleasure that can bring so much joy!  But it’s important to pick the right shower that has strong water pressure and is efficient.  When the shower is more of a dribble it’s such a disappointing experience.  You begin to wonder why you bothered!

You need to think about the best shaped one for your room.  However, your main priority is to make sure its waterproof.  I like the sound of the leak free trays provided by Insignia Showers.  But whatever company you pick make sure you have an experienced professional install it.  Most problems with leaking showers are down to poor installation.

There are so many different showers depending on your needs and of course your budget!  I love the sound of steam showers.  The reason being is that they offer more of a spa experience.  With hydrotherapy massage jets and steam they have lots of health benefits compared to a regular shower.  They can improve stiffness and joint pain, help with circulation issues and ease your cold if your unwell.

You can also get digital showers which I think would be useful.  They give you more control over the temperature.  I feel like I am always messing about with the temperature controls with four of us using the same shower and all having different ideas about what temperature feels comfortable.

Water Pressure

The water pressure dictates how powerful your shower will be, so you want to make sure you get that sorted first.  Even something as simple as a dirty showerhead can have an impact, so check the most obvious causes first.  However, if it continues call in the professionals to get to the route of the problem.  Depending on the water system you currently use they can come up with suggestions.  One option is to invest in a power shower as the incorporate pump helps when you have low water pressure.

If you are in a rush to get ready in the morning an electric shower like we have is an excellent choice. Prior to having our new ensuite we had to wait for our water to heat up which took forever.  But its vital to have higher the kW rating so the shower can heat plenty of water quick enough.  Otherwise you might have the warm water you want but not enough pressure!
