Taking The Restored Health Quiz

Lately I have been feeling really run down.  I think I try and juggle too much sometimes.  Piling on the blog deadlines, the kid’s activities and the never-ending housework.  Then I stay up far too late, so I get some “me time”!  But the next day I am exhausted and so the cycle continues.  My health seems to have suffered for it.  Something needs to change but I am not entirely sure what.  Hence, I was eager to take part in The Restored Health Quiz to see what foundation of health it would recommend I restore to start to feel better.

Currently I have had a dreadful cold that I am struggling to shift.  I don’t bounce back quite the same anymore.  So, I really felt I needed to know what I could improve.  It’s quite a simple quiz to complete, it doesn’t take very long.  I would recommend giving it a go to see what you can correct to feel healthier in yourself.

Plus, I love the concept behind The Restored they want to make it as easy as possible for you to improve your health by focusing on the area that would have the greatest impact.  Alongside amazing advice, The Restored plan to launch a range of innovative health products in August.  I will be writing a second blog post documenting my experience with a product designed to help my chosen foundation of health.

The Restored consider there to be four foundations of health, sleep, nutrition, movement and mindset.

They need to all work in balance for you to feel your best.  The Restored Health Quiz asked questions relating to my sleep, dietary habits and exercise.  I am not a morning person by any stretch.  I rarely start the morning feeling wakeful and well rested.  Instead it’s a real effort to drag myself from bed!  So, I had a feeling which way the quiz results might go!

The Restored Health Quiz then decided that I need the most help with my sleeping habits.

It gave me lots of information and practical advice to support me on my journey.  There was even a free sleep course I could follow.   Such a comprehensive resource that I was grateful to access.

Yes, there are other things I could do too.  I probably should add oily fish to my diet and try and squeeze in more fruit and vegetable into my day!  Yet despite those admissions apparently getting adequate sleep overrides everything else.  Once you have got that routine sorted, your dietary habits tend to improve.  I guess I can relate as its simple to go for a quick sugary fix when you’re feeling drained.  If your well rested it’s easier to make the right choices and have enough energy leftover to exercise.

According to The Restored just putting in 20% effort should govern 80% of your results.  Simply because you focused on the appropriate foundation to improve your health.  I think that is the key to getting the most out of this.
