Bad Brownie kindly gifted me their Brownie in a Mug Kit. Given the high sugar content this is a treat for the adults! If you have been enjoying lots of walks lately you can offset all that exercise with some indulgence. It was the perfect pick me up in lockdown. Edible treats are my favourite kind right now. Life is rather repetitive and a little bit dull, so getting something exciting in the post like this kit made me smile. I am sure you can think of lots of grownup friends and family in isolation that would love to be introduced to this decadent brand of brownie. So, brighten their day with these gooey tasty brownies, we all need to be spoilt in these difficult times.

These kits cost £15 and come with a mug, three sachets of brownie mix and three flavour pots (triple chocolate mix, salted caramel mix and biscoff mix). The instructions are very clear, I was a bit worried how I would measure out the 30ml of milk seeing as my jug starts at 100ml. But they thoughtfully also let you know that two tablespoons does the trick! It is that level of detail which makes the customers life easier.

Easy To Make

These Brownie in a Mug kits from Bad Brownie are a fun activity to try. They are not overly complicated, and you only need to add some milk and 30g butter to the included ingredients. You can look forward to gorgeous molten brownies in just five minutes. They take hardly any time to prepare. Then only one minute to cook (in a 900W microwave) and another three to cool.

I have tried my own mug cakes before and had been proud of my efforts. Well, that was until I tried the Bad Brownie version! This was such a moist and chocolaty treat; it really satisfied all my sugar cravings! Each spoonful literally melted in my mouth. It was pure heaven. I shouldn’t have expected any less from a company that prides itself on making brownies with attitude!

Letting you get your caffeine and sugar fix in one well thought out delivery. My only regret is not knowing about this company earlier, I would have totally ordered their salted caramel yule log at Christmas. That really was a thing of beauty!
