My son was delighted with his two new Turtle night-lights from Spearmark.  He’s not a huge fan of the dark and likes knowing that he can turn his illumimate on at any time in the night for instant comfort and reassurance.

It seems to have helped him settle because he knows where exactly his lights are.  If he needs them he isn’t calling me as much anymore and when he does I remind him about his lights and to put them on.  When it is nearing 7pm I need every trick in the book for a swift and smooth routine.  I am usually on my last legs by then and my patience is well and truly being tested.

These fabulous colour-changing lights are available in a wide range.  All the licensed brands your children love already.  For example Minions, Shopkins, Paw Petrol and Peppa Pig. I think they are called Illumimates because they are like a little friend in the night. They are lightweight and portable so perfect to take on sleepovers and holidays too.

These lights are battery operated but batteries are included which is a welcome bonus. Given the very reasonable price of each unit I was not expecting them to have batteries already. It’s handy not being mains operated either because it means the Illumimates can be positioned exactly where your child wants them.  Plus your not worried they are going to get tangled up in wires. Yes, I am that mum that usually worries about everything!
