Happy And Healthy Snacking With Ape

I love to get my boys outdoors on walks. It’s important that we have an active lifestyle as a family. But literally as soon as we set foot outside, I get endless requests for snacks! I think we have all been there as parents. Our children seem to think we are their personal snack dispensers! It can get a little tiresome. So, I was only too happy to be involved in this collaboration.
I enjoyed being introduced to a snack brand that really works for our family. Ape have been around since 2014 so I feel a little late joining the #nomonkeybusiness snack revolution!
But I am glad I am now familiar with the brand.
Now my boys are older they are quite vocal about their likes and dislikes. It can be harder keeping them on the straight and narrow when it comes to food. Fortunately, they absolutely loved trying out Ape Puffs. The appetising taste, the crunch and the packaging were all very appealing to them. So, I am delighted we have stumbled upon such a well-received go to snack for our walks from now on! In a recent Mumsnet product test, out of 135 testers, 83% would recommend the Ape Puffs range!
These light snacks are baked rather than fried so my boys could get their snack fix but still stay healthy. It’s all about giving them better choices so they stop leaning towards processed junk!
Incredible Taste
We all really liked the taste of the three varieties we were sent! Lightly Salted was a firm family favourite across the board. Sweet Chilli went down particularly well with my husband and eldest, the snack had a bit of a kick to it which they loved. Whilst my youngest was a BIG fan of the Really Cheesy Puffs. The Really Cheesy flavour has been awarded the Mumsnet Rated badge. Cheese lovers will welcome the intense burst of flavour! It’s even vegan friendly! Apparently the most missed food item by vegans is cheese, so this flavour will totally satisfy any cheese cravings. They are nut and gluten free too, well done to Ape for catering for so many allergies.
Very Munchable
They are great snacks to munch on, you feel like you get a decent portion in each pack. This meant they didn’t grumble for more snacks on our walk! It might be all that filling goodness from the coconut and rice. Whatever it is, it really was a parenting win moment for me! I will be bringing Ape snacks on future walks that’s for sure.
Good For You
Ape snacks tick lots of boxes for me as a parent. Ape use the best plant-based ingredients. They include nothing artificial, so no nasty monkey business! Just 100% natural ingredients, which are all very nutritional.

I especially love how they have developed a product that is great for my boys but also considers the planet too! Ape give 1% of their revenue to 1% For the Planet.

I am totally chucking! When Liv was younger, she was much easier to please… nowadays I forever hear ‘but I don’t like that flavour!’ These snacks sound awesome, I haven’t see them yet but will look out for them… when doing my online shops! Quite liking the idea of the Sweet Chilli flavour! Sim x

Finding healthy snacks that children do not necessarily think are healthy is a challenge I love. These sound great and have some lovely flavours as well

I’ve not seen or heard of Ape brand yet but would love to try the chilli puffs as I love spicy things and knowing that it is plant based helps as well.
My youngest is gluten-free sop I love seeing snacks like this. I personally love cheese snacks so they’re something I’d probably snack on myself.
we weren’t a fan of the slightly salted ones at all but really liked the chili ones and the cheese ones(but the cheese ones had a smell which lingered so maybe taking them for an outdoor walk rather than to the cinema is a better option lol)
I haven’t heard of this brand before, I must look out for them next time I go shopping.

Both of my girls always ask for snacks when we are out, I have a mini rucksack just for snacks! I would definitely give Ape snacks ago, healthy and filling feels like a win to me!

These look and sound delicious, we will definitely be checking them out! Since we are home so much now my two little ones are always asking for snacks and these sound perfect, I think the cheese would be the biggest hit in our house!

Haven’t heard of Ape before, so definitely late to the party, but these snacks look like they would be a definite hit with my three.

They sound ideal snack for kids, I like that they have a chilli flavour as I usually find chilli flavoured crisps are aimed more at adults
