Naturally, we wear clothes for practical reasons to keep us warm and stop us wondering around naked! But our clothes are now so much more than that. Fashion has become part of who we are, showcasing our moods and personality. But how easy is it bringing personality to your wardrobe. I have included some thoughts on the topic below.

Say It With Words

I love how Pixels have managed to develop a range of t-shirts that bring personality to your wardrobe. I was browsing their women’s t-shirts and love the motivational quotes in particular. Let’s be fair 2020 has been a bit of rubbish year so t-shirts with a cheerful slogan can give you a bit of a lift and show that you are a friendly approachable person. Or if you’re not big on that vibe they also have a “be a miserable b*tch” t-shirts too! I guess that does at least let people know when to approach you with caution! Whatever mood you are in Pixels will have a t-shirt that reflects how you are feeling.

I quite fancy getting one of the being normal is boring t-shirts. It’s nice that you don’t have to be like everyone else.

Get Across A Point

Clothes can let people know more about your beliefs and behaviour. If you feel passionately about something why not pick out a t-shirt that highlights that. For example, rather than people get angry about politics do the simple thing and actually vote! As seen in the men’s t-shirt below which goes back to the classic line from the 2008 Obama campaign.

When I was younger, I was big on animal welfare, so I would have loved a t-shirt that emphasized kindness to animals.

Creative Types

Opting for graphic t-shirts can show you are a creative person. However, it’s likely you will want your fashion choice to be nonconformist and unique to you. In that case you could design your own t-shirt because then you know its not going to be worn by the masses! Individuality is very important to creatives.

Colour and Personality

Colour can be very influential. For example, If you pick out red t-shirts it is considered a bold choice. Whilst blue is quite positive, brown is dependable and yellow is a cheerful colour. Green has associations with nature, so it helps give across a calm and content feeling. The colour choices you make play a big part in bringing personality to your wardrobe.
