I always love staying in hotels because the bathrooms are always so much more luxurious. But with holidays out of the question I will have to make do with transforming my own bathroom. So here are a few ideas to add luxury to your bathroom. Then hopefully you can enjoy that hotel feeling as lockdown drags on forever… anyone else well and truly fed up? Well the perfect pick me up is definitely being pampered in your new luxurious bathroom.

Marble

A material that always looks opulent is marble. But you can opt for reproductions of marble if you are on a budget but still want that lavish style. Plus, you don’t have to go all out in the bathroom, you could try just adding some marble details like a splashback or even simply having marble accessories. Whatever you decide to do just remember that marble is worth the investment, for its timeless elegance and sophistication its one of the best materials for a luxurious bathroom.

Showstopper Shower

Luxury Shower Cabins are a great option if you want a showstopper of a shower. You get all the premier features you are missing in the fanciest of hotels. You want only a few tasteful accessories on show and everything else tucked away in the vanity units. In smaller bathrooms wall mounted units are usually recommended so more of the floor can be seen to give the illusion of space. Then ditch all the mismatched bottles for some toiletry dispensers.

Whenever you stay in a posh hotel you appreciate the softest fluffiest towels. So, it’s worth investing in new towels for that hotel feel. It is the little details that help your bathroom become more glamorous after all. Why not go all out and get monogrammed towels. Whatever you decide the colour and patterns of your towels can really give the bathroom a lift.

Add Plants

Plants look great in a luxurious bathroom. But you do need to carefully pick out which ones would appreciate the extra humidity. Potted orchids, golden pothos, bamboo and peace lilies are ideal bathroom plant choices. So, if you want to create an oasis at home stock up on some of those.

Double Sink Bathroom

It means less counter space but having two sinks is much more extravagant so in keeping with a luxurious style. His and her sinks are considered very desirable. They are quite practical as you both have space to get ready in the morning.

Buy Candles

Candles are great to add atmosphere and fragrance to a room. When adding luxury to your bathroom think about the scents you pick, these choices are great for self-care. Some of the candle pots look very lavish too which helps complete your luxury look. You want to feel completely relaxed in your bathroom so lavender can be an excellent choice. It can ease tensions.
