It includes 20 seasonal projects you can attempt. The book helps you gain confidence in painting by practising and perfecting your skill. Paint Make Create (£12.79) has plenty of information too about brushes and paints and how to build colour and achieve certain effects.

I love the cake toppers they are so pretty and actually quite simple to make once you have had a few tries. It is easy to spend a small fortune buying cake toppers so having the ability and confidence to make your own is a real asset. If you have started indoor gardening, then the ditsy plant pots are a great activity to try. Plain brown pots are transformed to something much more attractive then!

For summer you can try decorating a beach bag or an aluminium water bottle. It’s nice you have different projects depending on the time of year. Each method is broken down into easy to follow steps with plenty of pictures. It gives you a sense of assurance you won’t go wrong. But even if you did remember its all part of the practise that will improve your skill in painting!

I love Christmas baubles, so the modern baubles really appealed to me. But probably my favourite in that section of the book had to be the winter wrapping paper. So simple but charming too. At the back of the book, they have helpfully included templates. There are ones for the cake toppers, collage shapes and the cracker which again makes the book very user friendly.

The book includes a good mix of different activities to try. It means you can delve in and definitely find something that will appeal to your interests and skill level.
