Haribo Christmas Decorating Day With The Family
Haribo sent us a lovely gift box filled with pyjamas, sweets, and some baubles to fill for the tree to celebrate #decoratingday. It is always such a special time decorating the house ready for Christmas. It’s even better when you have some nice new pyjamas to wear and some sweets to nibble on when you do it. I think the Haribo pyjama bottoms are my new favourite pair to wear! They are covered with Haribo sweet pictures (bears, hearts, strawberries, cherries, rings and jelly babies) so look proper cool.
Made Us Smile
The delivery really did come at the right time to help with festive cheer. My husband and I had come down with COVID (round two). So naturally we were feeling a little sorry for ourselves. Thanks to those pesky germs I have actually missed out on two complimentary Christmas meals this week. Bah Humbug indeed! Fortunately, you can’t stay glum when you have tasty sweets in the house. Thank you Haribo for raising our spirits. You have got us back on track for Christmas.
Sweet Baubles

I really loved the idea of filling the baubles with Haribo sweets, the boys were thrilled to add them to the tree. We usually buy Christmas chocolates. But I think the sweets added a novel colourful twist to our tree and we will certainly be making that a new Christmas tradition from now on. Also, I have a feeling the boys will want us to stock up on even more empty baubles! Just so they have an even bigger selection to munch on in the run up to Christmas 2023.
So Versatile
This time of year is all about making memories and there are so many you can make with Haribo. The packets of sweets make affordable stocking fillers (handy if you’re on a budget Santa)! You can also use the sweets to decorate Christmas cupcakes. Or if you’re feeling very adventurous you could attempt a Haribo sweet tree as a centrepiece for the Christmas table! It will definitely be something the children will appreciate and recall fondly in the future.
However, don’t feel under any pressure just do what feels right for you and your family this Christmas, Haribo won’t judge! Just sharing a packet of sweets wrapped up on the sofa watching a Christmas movie together is magical enough! They have some suitably festive ones I can recommend I think watching Elf (for the millionth time) would pair quite nicely with a packet of Haribo Giant Trees or Puck Penguin sweets.

Christmas Shopping
Haribo also have some great Christmas gifts too if you needed a couple more ideas to finish off, you’re shopping. The Haribo Sharing Medley covers all your favourites (Rhubarb & Custard Splats sound incredible!), or you could go with a Haribo Selection Box with eight mini bags. Children always enjoy a few sweet treats at Christmas. Either of these gifts would work well on their own or you could team them up with a new film and a packet of microwave popcorn for an instant movie night at home experience!
I love this time of year and I am glad Haribo made me refocus on that and forget about being under the weather. It was nice to get lost in the Happy World of Haribo for a while making more special memories as a family.
